Lil' Zip - Yellow

This lil' zipper pouch comes in a sunny yellow that was naturally dyed with goldenrod. The flower print was made with real Dyer's Coreopsis flowers that were grown in my garden. Take a piece of summer with you everywhere you go! ✿

I used a Japanese technique called tataki-zome, where I arranged flower petals onto the canvas fabric, and used a hammer to pound the petals into the fabric to transfer the pigments. Dyer's Coreopsis flowers are known to be one of the best dye flowers, giving beautiful colours and prints.

This is the perfect mini size for a coin purse or to fit some of your smaller items (lip balm, elastics, coins, cards, etc.).

Each bag is hand-dyed and totally one-of-a-kind. There will be natural variations in the dye, which help to give the bag it's unique character.
